I do not know about you, but when I think of Alaska, I think of bunkers and homes surrounded in piles and piles of snow and ice. The least thing I imagine in the dead of an Alaskan winter is beautiful gardens and landscaping. Or even a robust home building environment.
Believe it or not, when the snow and ice melts, the State of Alaska can be a beautiful, lush scene of green. A 2011 Anchorage population study also shows modest population growth predictions over the next year. This of course means the need for more housing.
The Anchorage Home Builders Association is out to prove a point with the 2013 Home, Garden, and Remodeling show. The event will be held March 8-10, 2013 at the Sullivan Arena.
